Here are three conversations I had on the show floor of the CBD Expo by mace media in Indianapolis, Indiana. These women are all working in the space and support their families with cannabis dollars just like me. While our work is disparate, ranging from retail sales of finished products all the way to formulation, we all are working with cannabinoids as we support our families. In my experience, cannabis is a wonderfully open industry for women. It is hard to have a glass ceiling in an industry that hasn’t found its ceiling yet. I come from a background in aerospace and electronics where women were few and far between. That hasn’t been my experience in cannabis, and I am glad for it. I love amplifying these voices and reminding the world that Mommies love weed! Mommies work in weed! Mommies grow mushrooms! Mommies take mushrooms! Moms get high. Moms treat their children with plant medicine. Moms advocate for their communities and Moms work. I hope you enjoy this episode and appreciate the good work these gals are doing in our space.
